Logistics

With our established relationships with the largest global insurers and financial institutions in the world of art and valuables, AV&VS is well-equipped to assist you in this area. In addition, clients who keep their collections in our facility will receive insurance rates that are considerably lower than the industry average.
Conservation
Among the AV&VS team members will be conservation professionals with practical experience, a broad range of theoretical and technical knowledge, and a commitment to high standards and performance. All will be certified with the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC).
These professionals will also have a well-equipped conservation room with the space and tools needed to conserve, restore and maintain fragile works of art. When necessary, we will consult with experts who specialize in particular kinds of objects as well, including paintings, works on paper, textiles, sculpture, furniture, rare books, photographs, and materials of an archaeological, decorative, or ethnographic nature.
Through this service, we will help increase client awareness of the methods and techniques required to preserve objects. This includes determining structural stability, counteracting chemical and physical deterioration, and performing conservation treatment, based on an evaluation of the aesthetic, historic, and scientific characteristics of the object.
Insurance valuation, Appraisals, ALR certification, FBI database clearance, 1031 exchanges, Insurance of collections or individual pieces and Management of insurance policies are all available through AV&VS.
